Hello, my name is Brian Evans. Along with my wife, Melissa, we are the leaders for a group simply known as SACRED.

SACRED began as a small group of Single Adult Christians Rejoicing Every Day. But over the past few years, some great changes have been made. What once started as a group of never- been marrieds, divorcees, widows and widowers, single moms or just “my spouse doesn’t come to church “ believers, we have grown into a diverse group of Christians that love to dig into the Word of God and enrich ourselves in the development of our spiritual maturity.

Over the past we have spent time learning more about God through series’ such as: Facing Our Challenges; Waiting on our big God; The Tragedy of Unopened Gifts; What is Water Walking, A One by One Look at the Twelve Apostles; and a thorough study on the Book of Job. We have looked at the Search for Christian Significance and Understanding Our Fears.

Prayer is a tremendous part of our ministry. We as a group devote time each week for prayer and address the specific needs of our classmates, friends and family. We believe that when you lift up someone in prayer to Christ, that you should be specific of their needs and call them out by name.

Fellowship is also a vital part of the ministry of SACRED. We believe that spiritual fulfillment and growth can be richly attained through “outside the classroom” activities.

On behalf of myself, Melissa and the rest of our SACRED bunch, we invite you to come join us. We would love to see you in our class this week.
