It was a joy going through the book of Ruth the last four Wednesday evenings.  Esther is up next.  But before we start Esther I got to thinking about the role of women in the Bible.  So before we start through the book of Esther, I want to spend this Wednesday evening on a special lesson: Putting Women in Their Place - Appreciating the Biblical Role of Womanhood.

 

I'm afraid that there is a lot of misunderstanding about women, the Bible and church.  But as you read through the Bible it is obvious that Godly women have had great influence on families, countries and churches.  Unfortunately some view Bible believers like the Little Rascals He Man Woman Haters Club.  Nothing should be further from the truth in church.

 

We are blessed at Faith to have many Godly women in our church who lead through example and Bible teaching in their homes and in ministries of the church.  Surely all of us have been blessed by the Godly influence of women in our lives from mothers and grandmothers to Sunday School teachers.
